A STORY THAT INSPIRES US

When hope becomes participation.

The story of SP Science →

We are inspired by Sophia’s Cure Foundation. After their daughter’s diagnosis of spinal muscular atrophy, Vincent and Catherine Gaynor brought people together to fund research. Nationwide Children’s Hospital reported that the foundation raised more than $2.3 million for its research programme in three years.

Type 1 diabetes presents different scientific challenges. What we take from this story is the power of people to help serious research move forward.
